Manchester United star Paul Pogba scores sensational 30-yard strike for France in Holland clash

Paul Pogba silenced his critics by scoring a stunning winning goal for France in a World Cup qualifier against the Netherlands.

Pogba, who has been heavily criticised since his world record transfer from Juventus to Manchester United, picked the ball up from distance and rifled a powerful strike past Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Stekelenburg, earning his 57th cap for Holland, will be disappointed in his efforts to save Pogba’s shot after his diving hand wasn’t strong enough to keep the ball out.

Having become infamous for his ‘dab’ celebration, the Manchester United midfielder did not celebrate his thunderbolt strike and offered no emotion after Stekelenburg palmed the ball into the net.
