Over 140,000 people have descended upon Belgium for the second weekend of Tomorrowland, which is arguably the most notorious music festival in the electronic music world.
Meanwhile, back in America we have received word that Tomorrowland’s sister festival in the US, Tomorrowworld, may be back.
According to a local publication in Belgium, De Tijd, communication with Tomorrowworld’s initial US promoter LiveStyle are back up and running for a 2018 version of the festival. Tomorrrowland’s spokesperson Debby Wilmsen commented on the progress, saying:
“The relations between SFX and Tomorrowland were acidified, but now that new people are in control of the current LiveStyle, there is a new approach.”
Time will tell what comes out of LiveStyle and Tomorrowworld’s conversations, but the electronic community would certainly be thrilled with the return of the US version of the festival.
