Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema’s goals against Malaga ensured Real Madrid scored in every match in a La Liga season for the first time in the club’s history.
The Los Blancos needed a win to secure the title for the first time in five years and started very well as Ronaldo struck inside the second minute at La Rosaleda to make it 1-0.
That was the Portuguese 16th goal in 16 league games against Malaga and Benzema scored in what looked like he was slightly in an offside position for the 65 consecutive games for Madrid in all competitions.
It was also Madrid’s 33rd LaLiga title in their history and their first since 2012.
Madrid will face Serie A champions Juventus in the final of the UEFA Champions League on Saturday, June 3, while Barcelona will face Alaves in the final of the Copa Del Rey on Saturday.
