Barcelona accept Manchester City offer for Claudio Bravo

Barcelona have accepted a €16 million offer from Manchester City for Claudio Bravo.

Marca says an injury to Barcelona’s new No. 1 Marc-Andre ter Stegen looked as though it may halt a potential move initially, with Luis Enrique less inclined to sell Bravo in those circumstances, but the Premier League club’s persistence has prevailed.

The Chilean international joins City for €16 million with a potential €4 million in add-ons.

With Joe Hart already losing his place in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven for the league opener at the weekend, the England goalkeeper may now go on loan to Everton.

Hart was axed for the Premier League opener against Sunderland at the weekend in favour of Willy Caballero.

His future has been the topic of much discussion after an awful performance at Euro 2016.

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona have decided that their future lies with Marc Andre ter Stegen, 24, rather than the veteran Bravo.

The Chilean is expected to travel to Manchester on Thursday with a deal to be finalised before the weekend.
